陈福耀,1940年生于广东始兴人,原任羊城晚报报业集团主任编辑,61毕业于佛山艺专国画专业,后进修广州美院。国家一级美术师,美术作品经常参加省、市、全国及国际性大型美展,并获各种奖项,不少作品被国际友人、港澳台知名人士及国内美术馆、画院收藏。

1971年、1975年、1978年分别由广东人民出版社发行《中学生美术教材》,《小交通海生》、《西江潮》等教材书和连环画画册;

1975年、1978年由天津人民美术出版社出版发行《人物线描》1、2集;

1985年由岭南美术出版社发行《陈福耀作品选》(国画册);

2010年与中国美术家协会主席刘大为、中国书法家协会荣誉主席沈鹏联袂出版了《艺术大师三人行》,该书由中国文史出版社出版,全国新华书店发行;

2013年作品入编由广东省委、省政府编制,中国大百科全书发行《广东百科全书》,并特聘为该书顾问之一;同年书法作品“神州载福耀四方”被中国艺术飞天奖评委会评为“中国艺术飞天奖终身成就奖”,并被评为中国航天文化艺术中心终身艺术顾问;

2016年由中国文化部人才交流中心策划,中国文联出版社出版,《翰墨缘深》—刘大为、陈福耀作品集;

2019年8月被广东省道和德慈善基金会聘任为基金会名誉主席;同年10月6日,代表广东省书画界入选中国书画家联谊会新文艺群体工作委员会《奋进新时代新文艺群体书画家名人录集》,同年12月被受邀登入《中国书画家报》2020年首刊新春大拜年栏目;

本次展览恰逢春节期间的大年初二,我们选择了陈福耀老师创作的福字进行展播。佛教认为积善可得福报,福田、福柄、福神、福善,从而赐福给为善的人,陈福耀老师创作的“福”字灵感来于此,祝愿全球华人幸福常在,福寿无疆,该幅作品已被中国国家博物馆收藏。国外媒体对中国当代艺术家、国家一级美术师陈福耀的作品也是赞赏有加纷纷报道。

On February 6th, 2019, new york time, Chinese contemporary artist and national first-class artist Chen Fuyao's work "Fu" and his oriental artist image were displayed on the big screen of Times Square in new york, bringing art light from the East to new york and attracting thousands of eyes to stop on the Nasdaq screen. This is the glory of Chinese contemporary artists and the pride of artist Chen Fuyao. This exhibition coincides with the New Year's Day during the Spring Festival, and we chose the Fu characters created by Teacher Chen Fuyao to show and broadcast. Buddhism believes that accumulating good deeds can be rewarded with blessings, such as Futian, Fushi, Fushen and Fushan, thus blessing those who are good deeds. The word "Fu" created by Teacher Chen Fuyao is inspired here, wishing Chinese people all over the world happiness and longevity. This work has been collected by the National Museum of China. Foreign media also praised and reported the works of Chen Fuyao, a contemporary Chinese artist and national first-class artist.
